POSITION BASIC PURPOSE

Handle requests by providing customers (both domestic and international) and sales representatives with timely and accurate information.  Provide good customer service.  To assist customers and sales representatives in obtaining delivery information and following up to ensure schedules are being met.     
         
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES 

Provide customers and representatives with general information such as stock availability, pricing, cross reference information, order status, etc.  
Ability to enter changes to an existing order.  
Assisting customers/representatives on shortages, incorrect shipments, pricing issues, copies of invoices, proof of delivery, or any other request for information they may have.  
Inform the customer/representatives of any price discrepancy found on an order.  
Be a team player and assist the customer/representative/department in continuously providing good customer service.  
Provide delivery information to our customers/representatives. 
Follow up to ensure promises are kept or customers are informed of reschedules.
 
Daily release manual consolidation orders for shipment and communicate these releases with our Louisville facility.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, COMPETENCIES AND ABILITIES) 
Experienced Customer Care Rep                                                 
Salesforce CRM Experience
VMI & EDI Experience
Experience working in a Engineering & Manufacturing environment
ERP Experience – JDE preferred
Excellent verbal & written communication skills
Ability to drive change
