POSITION BASIC PURPOSE
Lead and Supervise the EV Manufacturing/Development Engineering Group in achieving objectives to support Mersen’s strategic EV plan, actively pursue adherence to approved ISO and IATF documentation and procedures, support the development of Manufacturing and
Engineering strategies, and continuously drive new product development processes and current manufacturing operation improvements through the use of Continuous Improvement Methodologies. Work and collaborate with Automotive OEM’s, Tier 1, and Component Suppliers
on EV Product Design, Release, and Changes, with emphasis on Design and Cost for Manufacturability of Product.
CONTEXT OF THE POSITION AND MAJOR CHALLENGES
Strong overall understanding of new product development process, broad based knowledge of assembly technology related to electromechanical device manufacturing, applied knowledge of design for manufacturing, strong understanding of product cost, must demonstrate
the ability to manage multiple projects, and work closely with all functional disciplines to achieve target results.

Promote and maintain technical interchange with product teams |

Maintain project expenditures within budget, and generate capital budget |
9. |
Review and approve specifications and suppliers |
10. |
Schedule and maintain project progress |
11. |
Support ISO 14001, IATF implementation, and improvements as an EMS 14001 team member |
