Description/Job Summary

MERSEN USA Greenville-MI Corp., ranked as one of the top graphite machining facilities in the nation specializing in machined graphite and rigid insulation products, has an immediate opening for a Sales Manager, responsible for the maintenance of existing customers and development of new customers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Drive top line revenue and profitability for MERSEN USA Greenville-MI Corp.
  • Increasing market share, customer account development, prospecting, etc…
  • Leading, coaching, and developing the members of their team personally and professionally.
  • Direct manager of all sales personnel at MERSEN Greenville.
  • New product development coordination with customers and production.
  • Main interface with high profile customers, other sales managers within MERSEN, and MERSEN sales/marketing VP’s
  • Sales budgeting and monthly reporting.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and 5-10 years of business development, marketing, or sales experience.  Proven leadership and experience leading a team of people.  Strong communication skills and superior interpersonal expertise are a must. 35-45% travel involved both domestically and internationally.  Experience in the graphite industry is preferred but not required.
